For me, there’s only one place calling after the long, stifled months of lockdown: a wind-roiled tonic that carves our shorelines and fills our rivers. I’ve been longing to swim in nature again; I have been taking long, cold showers and wallowing in baths, thinking how nice it would be to see a moorhen butting its head against the current, open space to stretch out and dive in, or even a snarl of river weed clutching at my feet...

Jack Hudson

Little brother Jack (26) - the youngest of the Hudson brothers - is an author represented by the literary agency Curtis Brown. He writes mostly for Adventure Uncovered, focusing on personal stories that link exploration and conservation. He was also the guest adventure editor at Red Bull UK. 'Swim Wild' is his debut book.
